    Grandpa and my Dad taught me to how to trail a hit deer with little to no blood by using other signs such as footprints, disturbed ground, and the like along with general behavior of wounded animals and those skills have recovered several deer that other hunters had given up on.

    Glenfield model 20 is what I learned on. Nice little bolt action rifle. I prefer using bolt action or pump action type firearms for youngsters as the manual actions required add a little more safety when beginners start to shoot IMO.

    My Grandfather!!!!! He was the BEST story teller of all time to me. I could sit and listen to him talk about dirt and be totally infatuated. Many fond memories of just sitting around and hearing him talk.

    At the place we would go on LOW there was about a 15 lb northern that would sit by the bait tanks and when they would clean out the dead ones, it was right there. Big sign "No Fishing" on the dock and they enforced it. Don't know if it was the same fish, but there was always a clean-up...

    I'll be sure to air drop some recycled, taste tested, only used once Dingaling. Watch for the sprinkle. (Grin) I should have room to pick up a few cases of each. Might have to hold them hostage and make them available only upon setting foot on my deck for a taste test.

    Have you had the boat out yet?

    Same here JK. Been catching all the walleyes I want without a boat. Until that changes, I don't see me dunking my watercraft anytime soon. Last year it was late July before she got wet and that was to check out the new electronics. That and my Dad wanted to go, so off we went.

    Fish Smell

    Dawn dish soap and a good nail brush has been my stand-by method of hand cleansing for many years and seems to work well enough for my needs.
