    I'm going to chunk some lead when I'm there, but I figure someone has to cook for these DRUNKS I'm going with, so that's what I think I will be doing most. Got some Elk, Venison, eggs, bacon, and beans for starters. Whatever they bring will just put topping on the cake.

    Been wearing military issue combat boots for just about everything outdoors for the last 20 some years and they haven't let me down yet. Next year, I'll be in the market for a different genre of boot so I REALLY like threads like this.

    Anyone gardening yet.

    Got the gardens rota tilled and am now waiting for the weeds to start to grow so I can whack them for a clean start to planting. So far I have nothing growing, but I KNOW them dirty rat bastages are just waiting for me to put ONE seed in the ground and BAM!!! Instant weed carpet!!!!

    YEP!! There's just something special about working together as a team to find them birds. Until I got my English Cocker, I had no idea what these bird guys were talking about when they tried to explain the magical aura of hunting behind a good dog. Now I know!!!

We arrived to a beautiful sunrise and the birds already on the ground and in full strut across the canyon. The landowner had built my daughter and I a blind the week before...
