    Deer Success?

    Just so I understand this proposal. Any unused tags not sent in would count as filled, thereby inflating the number of deer taken with archery equipment, ensuring inaccurate data, guaranteeing the G&F will give out the wrong number of tags for a given unit. Am I missing something here????

    OR.....The G&F could just go out and COUNT the number of deer in each hunting unit and make tag decisions based on that and leave the rest of us and our own personal agendas the hell out of it.     With the LACK OF RIFLE TAGS, more guys are spending the entire season chasing deer with the only weapon they can.......the bow. Just taking into account the time spent in the stand with archery equipment will bring the success rates up. Not a big surprise to me.

    staking down a ground blind

    Those screw in dog tyeruperthingydingy's works the best for me when I want to keep a ground blind put. One off each side so the rope is at a 45 degree angle and then put some of those weed barrier pins around the bottom. Ground blind stays put.

    I sleep with my wife, under a sheet with a couple blankets on top and the dog at the foot of the bed. Why do you ask?? As far as the "evil" bait piles, the bird food is in a bucket, not a pile, which is WAY WAY different and I can't help it if the deer like bird food.

    Watched this deer last night and got a knot in my stomach while doing it. Didn't set well with me and I DON'T like watching NATURE take it's course sometimes. She pisses me off at times and being a spectator SUCKS sometimes. That's about all I want to say about it. (rant over)
