    I usually put about 30 ft of mono or dacron backing to make sure it does not slip on the arbor. I may not have needed though.

    This debate is not about fish and their effect on the lake. If you spend the time and read the information, it is about the county controlling the stocking of fish regardless of the biological facts. It comes down to lake property owners getting to decide what is stocked or not stocked in the lake.

    That looks good! I based my decision on what i see ran on off shore boats. Most in Sitka AK are Yamaha or Suzuki. A very few Hondas and one or two Mercs. If an engine can handle the stress of a charter boat or commercial boat in the salt, It should handle anything I do to it.

    I manage and service write for an independent repair shop and that is sub par work. It looks like they had a low end hack of a tech do that work. I would expect they redo the job correctly or give you some money back. The castle nut would not be replaced with the job unless damaged, but it all...
