    I carry a Kimber crimson ultra carry pro in a .45. It fits me well and I shoot it well. A good conceal holster makes it unnoticeable for everyday carry. Buy what you like to shoot and fits you. shoot as many as you can - rent or shoot with friends. You will carry what you like best.

    I run 15lb power pro as well. Start with mono and learn how to use/cast, then switch to power pro.

    Why would it be different for a spinning reel vs. bait caster? I reel with my left as my right arm is stronger and more accurate to cast with. It can be very difficult to find a left hand retrieve bait caster reel and/or line counter.
