    I've tried fly fishing for carp a few times with a float tube. I had a number of them on but never landed them. They broke the line every time. They took a scud looking fly pretty easy. I used to fly fish quite a bit but haven't for awhile.

    Go to an Asian market if you have one. In Bismarck, they have a bunch of small, smelt like fish at a good price. We bought anchovies for around 3$ for almost a dozen. About the size of smelt. Also have bigger and smaller kinds of frozen fish.

    How to butcher a catfish

    Just fillet like any other fish. So much easier. And use an electric knife. Why people don't use an electric knife is beyond me. I can fillet five walleye in about three minutes with an electric knife. Plus very little waste meat. They chop through the ribs with absolutely no problem.
