    Snow Joe?

I purchased a corded snow Joe this winter as I have two larger decks and the kids have moved on. I have not had much snow this season so I've only used it twice. First time I had 1-2 inches on the deck and I have to say it was useless. The second time I had 10-12 inches and the thing worked...

New Pole Barn is Up - Lighting Suggestions/Options Needed

This may sound stupid but if I were you I would check on this. Will you be roping in the barn? LED lights have a weird light wave. They have a strobe light affect on fast moving objects like a rope swinging fast. I built a 36 X 50 man cave a couple year ago with 100 % LED lighting and like I...

Buy New Boat out of State - Pay Sales Tax?

Actually you do owe the tax man on a private sale also, however ND leaves that to a honor system. So they wont come looking for but you do still owe it. I called the tax office on this once and that's the answer I got from them

    Spring Pike on Sakakawea

The old boat ramp at the east end of mallard island is a easy place to start its only a 1/2 mile off of 83. we also had good luck off the old boat ramp on the west side of fort Stevenson. Wolf creek has some good areas as does Steinke bay and Douglas bay. I always wanted to try Douglas on the...

tracks - just for the ice/snow?

I run a Polaris ranger and switch out for the season. Mine as power steering so cant help you there. IMO I see no reason why you couldn't run tracks 365 The Good... Tracks give you more stability, they smooth out rough trails and offer more ground clearance. The Bad...they are loud, Their hard...

    Places closing in Minot

I've found that when I look for something local they either don't have it in stock or its at a much higher price then online. I would rather buy local but with that said amazon gets a lot of my money. I've lived in the Minot area for a long time and blame both the flood and boom for the over...

    Ice Auger

I've had an 8" ion for the last two seasons. Granted I seldom drill more then 10-15 holes at a time. The thing has worked great on ice up to 30 inches. Buddy bought the same one with the 10" chipper IMO the 10 cuts faster then the 8. Had the same 10 inch Jiffy for 20+ years I don't miss the gas...

    temps for hanging deer

One other point to consider is the size of the deer? If it is a truly large frame deer you will need to pay attention to cooling the upper chest and neck area. Very thick meat and will retain body heat from the animal much longer.

    No trespass

MM I agree that the posting Law benefits both he hunter and the landowner that doesn't want to be bothered. I like the law as it stands. I was preaching to the guys that blame either landowners are other sportsmen for not being able to hunt/ fish or whatever. We have it good here I honestly...

    No trespass

Well this seem to prove that social media has truly killed our ability to talk about anything. If you cant find a decent place to hunt in ND your not looking. If you cant find a place to fish in ND your either blind are not looking. ND still has abundant wildlife and places to hunt and many...
