      Garage heater

I will be putting a heater in my 2 stall garage. In my previous garage I had a vented propane heater, worked well.

Was debating going the none vented, would that be a huge mistake? Recall discussion of moisture issues, but not sure if I am conflating another discussion with the vented/nonvented topic.

      I definitely wouldn't go with a "non-vented one.

Um...if no floor heat just stick to a vented gas unit heater. Affordable and dependable. Wall mount ventless type are no good.

Non vented heater would be like eating 3 large bowels of chilie then sleep in a closet.

I heard it's going to a mild winter this year......and every year after that. Heat is unnecessary.

Vented wall heater of adequate size, with a low-temp thermostat. Best way to go, along with plenty of insulation with R value worth a damn.

24x28 garage, 2 hanging electric. 1 (6000 watt) hooked "off peak". Second (5000 watt) is just a backup or if need more quick heat. The one keeps it at 52 degrees easily on low setting for dogs.

      Ceiling fan also

Excuse me, heaters are 5k and 4k watt

I think in a well insulated 2 stall garage that off-peak electric isn't a bad idea.

In our house and garage we are having built we are going with central air / heat with heat pump setups. One in house and one in garage. Screw it, i am old and when i want to be in the garage i not only want it warm in winter, i want it cool in the summer. So put one in each and have 2x6 walls filled with closed cell foam. House and garage should heat/cool very cheap. Also having overhead fans put in. Lots of LED tube lights also.
