Does it perform any meteorological functions? Asking for a friend who is also a bucket.

I know a few people who have the Yeti bucket. It does fit nice and snug in the bucket holder on the Otter monster box, better than a regular bucket. It does have a sweet looking lid, haha.

I bought one at the DU silent auction last year...I can attest that it does a great job of holding miscellaneous golf/tennis/baseballs and nerf darts in the garage.

they have been out for a few years now and there are plenty of guys presumably wearing white sunglasses I assume that are willing to pay for them. They love to talk about the fact that it has a second set of handles for tying it down and then it's three times as thick right up until somebody points him out that it's you can basically just take two 5 gallon buckets stick them together and have the exact same thing not to mention with an air gap in there that would act as natural insulation. And you can buy them from Home Depot for three bucks a pop.

I think the fancy lid is an extra $ 30

You need to move to California or quit watching hunting shows if you are buying a $40 yeti bucket.

the same guys who pay $2500 for a rifle and scope, 1500 for a shotgun, or 10,000 more for a diesel pickup instead of gas to pull their boat twice a year...

lots of them...

A custom rifle and night force scope is not the same as a savage rifle/scope combo

a diesel pickup is not the same as a gas pickup.

A 5 gallon bucket is a 5 gallon bucket.
