Boat is ready for the 2020 season...batteries in, all systems checked, big motor started on the first crank...she's ready! Plan to go out Wednesday afternoon...we'll see if the weather cooperates. Open water season is here gents...thank the Lord!

^ I talked to Carey at 6 Mile Bait & Tackle yesterday...he said there were still a few folks walking out on the ice as of Saturday...not sure where exactly? Yesterday's satellite map looks like still quite a bit of ice on Audubon's main lake. I am pulling the boat down Wednesday afternoon...if I can't get on Audubon at 3 Mile corner, I'll probably just put in at Ft. Stevenson on Sak...looks like quite a bit of open water along north shore.

Big lake is looking better and better! Wont be long now!

Audubon main lake will be a little while yet. The shore lines are tearing away but there is still a heavy ice sheet out there.

I was down there all weekend no docks are in yet. You could launch your boat at the cabin ramp but your not going to make it out on the main lake. She still iced up pretty good.

I have been docking upstream of Hazelton but I hear of 100s of boats using the Hazelton ramp so you should be golden.

Yep, just be ready to see busier ramps and river than you have ever seen before.

Any one know the status on tschida? The wife is the boat loader unloader and when explaining what ramps in town will be like or even hazelton she seems a bit worried not about the virus but just the sheer amount of boat traffic on a river people yelling etc as she is use to loading on lakes no problem but not the river. Is tschida even open?fogured I would ask prolly a dumb question though haha

If not please have patience with a women and 3 kids holding the boat to the dock as dad backs down and loads it .

I Agree use a little patience, and lend a helping hand if you see someone struggling at ramp. Not everyone has that fishing buddy that has perfected the loading/unloading especially under pressure.

Docks are probably not in yet on Audubon? Shouldn't be long, though, right? Hopefully by the weekend....
