We have chokecherries and sand cherries till there come out are ears. The Elder berries will be ready in a month. Then apples and plums. Raspberry are past there prime and Strawberries still growing.
Plus the garden has never looked so good. The Tomato plants are over 4 ft tall and loaded with tomatoes.
I think that since it's the end of July and the Juneberries are done in the Turtle Mountains you are out of luck. The Chokecherries on our lot at Metigoshe are just starting to turn color and with all the rain we have had they should be plump. Lots of wild Ccherries in the Turtle Mtns.
I have quite a few chokecherries out by Lincoln. I've been looking at them lately and think they are still about a week away from the balance between abundance, and ripeness.
If you want to come pick your 3 gallons, just let me know. If a person knows how to do it, that doesn't take too long.
