Very cool! Would be nice to start seeing a little more interest in big bass tourneys up here.

That's pretty cool, its fun to see what these can guys do on some non traditional bass lakes lakes.

I don't think the cull law in SD applies to bass.

This is going to be pretty damn cool!
Might have to go check it out.
I'm a walleye guy but I'm addicted to major league fishing on my dvr!

It will be extra fun to watch if we have some nice 30 mile an hour winds

major league fishing is a great watch
I do find myself watching this randomly, but the format does have its drawbacks. The need to put weight on the board as fast as possible seems to favor guys who just catch as many small fish as possible vs a tourney where you can fish for 5 big bites. I think they need to tweek the rules to encourage going after big fish vs piling up 12-15 inchers.

I like that aspect of it that the guy who can catch the most fish wins but might not if the other guy does something different and gets a few big fish to bite and that no one is every really out of it and if they get hot in the 3rd period can make a big run

For me watching bass fishing is akin to watching paint dry. Haha :;:duel

I do enjoy catching bass though! Caught three nice smallies off the kayak the other weekend, was a blast.

About the only bass stuff I watch. It would be fun to see a walleye version with 15 inch minimum or something like that.

i think the no trolling is what makes bass fishing in the MLF format even more interesting along with the no landing rules and other little querks they have in it

the only fishing i will watch is MLF or some deep sea other wise it is all like watching paint dry.

Caught some pig smallies on Oahe. Only thing that worries me is crowd turnout. They get some big audiences down south. Will be curious to see the weights!

If they can fish Erie and the other great lakes, they can probably handle Oahe. Not saying it won't be a crap show but I think we might be underestimating them a bit.

No doubt they can handle wind but it makes it tougher. I think mille lacs was windy last year. Anybody drive a bass boat in big rollers? Never have myself.

Yeah I had a Glasstron fish n ski that was like a bass boat. You gotta trim the motor so the bow is way up n just go slow.
