Be careful. Anyone who asked about the casino cup last year was burned at the stake. Good luck to all the teams on day 2!

It was less of a roast last year more of a very strong warning because the casino is crooked and that tournament is NOT sanctioned by the ND game and fish and the casino refuses to do what every other tournament in the state does. 2 years ago, they ran 2 scales and different sized baskets on day 1 and did not zero the scales to the baskets so the weights were as much as 8lb different heavy and light, then after all that they decided not to pay out for 4+ months. That was just the one from 2 years ago, past history with it was similar stories.

That's good they straightened out some... until I find out they go through the nd game and fish and get sanctioned to run a tournament just like every other tournament in the state they can have someone else's money (casino is getting the money not a charity)

Do they go through the tribal game and fish? And isn't it 100% payback?

Tourney ran very smoothly this year, I thought they did a darn good job.
That new event center sure is nice as well.

The Casino got the message loud and clear after 2016. It has been ran really good since. I believe their were 162 teams in it this year. They allow the use of 3 ramps. Very limited wait times for unloading and loading now.

Was the Yar in the photo the fastest? If so, no it didn't win. Cut a check though. Well they had to pay to 31 because a ticket entry got lost for another team who didn't get their weight added up right and they took 26th so 30th would have unfortunately been bumped.

I heard good things for the tourney being ran. One thing mentioned was the spectators couldn't really sit and enjoy the weigh in because they weighed at the shop building vs by the seating.

I dislike the open boundaries because it stinks having to run a billion miles to be in the zip code of most of the top weight fish population(s). That would be my biggest beef. I believe in fishing the same fish.

So to the answer the question, faster boats do help some. Do they always. No. But running 30 plus miles it would help to save some time.

And I think it was 100% paid back. Unless they charged 20 dollar fee when signing up like they have done in the past. I have no issue honestly. You should be able to recover some operating cost. NDGF allows to do that anyway.

By drive it he means it starts chine walking at that speed, all boats will walk at certain speeds some you can drive through some you can't it's all in the shape of the hull. Really the last foot of the hull and weight distribution
