Ok. So I got this dirty little addiction to AR's. My boys and I have now built 3 of them in .223/556. A long time ago when SKS's were $100 I picked up a couple along with several thousand rounds. My question is, as long as I have lowers available, is it worth the money to pick up an upper in this caliber? How is the accuracy? I have to admit that since I've shot AR's, I've sorta fell out of love shooting my SKS's.

It's do-able. Muchore stuff available for it now than there was several years ago. However, popularity of the 7.62x39 AR platform has taken a hit with the advent of .300BO. I've never had a desire to run x39 in an AR because I much prefer the grin-inducing Bulgarian AK47.
