They're gonna raise the interstate speed limit to 80, and lower it to 70 in busy spots. Anyone against it?

wish more MN drivers would watch that. Whenever I see someone do something dumb, it's always a MN plate. I watched 2 of them almost get t-boned on 45th and 52nd yesterday because they didn't yield for the flashing yellow, and they followed each other like ducks. i don't remember the last time I've seen a ND plate do something genuinely stupid

Instead of raising the speed limit nddot could have made it better by making drivers merge to the right after they pass.

Saw posted on FB that they are going to change the 'wiggle room' from 5mph to 2mph. Essentially raising the speed limit was a ruse and just intended to raise speeding fines without actually allowing people to drive faster. When the speed limit was 75, you could drive 82/83 all day long and not get pulled over. Now if you drive the same speed, you might get pulled over AND get a much larger fine for doing it.

We could of left it back in the early seventies at 75, made the signs like they did back they probably would be good and not had to hassle with all this ----during my lifetime 75 55 65 75 80 omg this is what is wrong with our govt. The sad thing is the people are like sheep they just follow.

My guess is at first they are going to be sticklers to set the tone, but eventually they wont be pulling people over unless they are going 85+.

The consumers spend more in gas consumption and tickets while the state and oil industries benefit in revenue, shocking I know. I'll Still be speeding and setting the cruise as always right at the point before the rpm's really jump.
I see less accidents from people having to pass as often but more accidents from nov-april.
Wish they woulda just left it alone but I'm better at watching the shit fill up the other hand in which I don't wish in.

They’re gonna get bored of pulling people over quick when they realize everyone is gonna go 5 over no matter what
