The study also notes that LLM users “struggled to accurately quote their own work,” which makes sense, given that it was more the LLM’s work.“EEG revealed significant differences in brain connectivity: Brain-only participants exhibited the strongest, most distributed networks; Search Engine users showed moderate engagement; and LLM users displayed the weakest connectivity. That probably won't be doable at some point. Hell there's places that don't take cash now.I'm with Jiffy , I'll just hunker down in the hills and watch it unfold. I'll probably pull every Nickle I own of accounts at some point and deal with cash instead of plastic. I can see some people being less smart because they will rely on AI to think for them but I'm pretty sure people that want to be smart people will be way smarter.
no doubt AI will unlock huge potential in some individuals, but at the same time it will make the unmotivated, less motivated. We might get to the point where reproduction is limited to selected individuals, when low IQ laborers are no longer needed!I'm with Jiffy , I'll just hunker down in the hills and watch it unfold. I actually think its gonna be opposite.
