Colonel Leavenworth came back the next year and picked up 800 Yankton Sioux warriors that were more than happy to go and kick so Arikara azz. They put the hurt and em and captured the village only to have the Arikara escape at night.

Lunk: Having lived in and raising a family in Grand Forks from 1969 to 1989, I found this doc-film very interesting and entertaining. Thanks for the revisit and memories!

You bet grand forks also has a special place for me to, a lot of my extended family member relocated to grand forks to find work when there was lack of employment in our hometown.

It was awhile ago that I read in the Forum or the Wahpeton paper that it was in the Prohibition Days that a group of people came to Wyndmere from Fargo and wrecked a whole bunch of "BLIND PIGS" which were old buildings where locals drank beer and booze. They beat up who ever they caught there and really did tear some of the buildings down to the ground and burnt them. Thought this was quite funny now knowing Fargo is a boozing capital now. Times change....boozer...:devilish::ninja: LB

The Dino"s were like pigs and all took a dump in one spot. If you drilled down from the top you would run into different shit. LB
