I didnt even know Frabill makes a pop up. I would buy that one just because I love John Gillespie so much....

I figured that would be your response...haha. I'm not a big clam guy either, but i have no experience with Eskimo or Frabill houses either so I guess i would just go by what i'm looking for size wise. My buddy has the 1660 thermal and i fished in it once this year. It is pretty damn sweet and huge. Not to bad to set up with two guys either.

See a lot of those eskimos around, and I have heard nothing but great things about their customer service and standing by their product. Did not even know about that Frabill, but I have a Frabill now and like it. (flip house)

Hole placement should be considered as well. I think the long, narrow Frabill would be easier to spread people out in. heater on both ends if really cold.

Have not fished in either one but haven't heard anything bad about the eskimo's and a couple of my buddies have Frabil houses and I prefer the Frabil over the Clam's (flipover). Depends on how much room you are looking for would be my deciding factor.

If your looking for votes I cast mine for the Eskimo

I have the clam and the eskimo the clam is junk. Zippers break windows crack and the bag sucks big donkey balls getting it back in and then when you do the zipper breaks. Clam pop up is a big pile of steaming shit. The eskimo on the other hand has held up to every thing and hasnt let me down.

I actually will be going thru that little metropolis of Walker the weekend after next so am sure the gravitational pull will have me stopping in at Reeds. Might have to do a look see on different fish finders. For those of you yahoo's that have never actually been in that store, totally impressive with the inventory!Thumbs Up Still have to do your homework on sales though.

you and MSA should go fising together. You bring your clam and he can bring his Jiffy propane auger. Should be a productive and entertaining experience. #$%^&>
