I know a guy that carried his rifle 300 wetherby mag barrel up and bolt flipped up. dog closed the bolt shot back window out of the truck and the concussion blew the front windshield out.

I worked with a guy who was hunting in a blizzard with his buddy. When they got back to the vehicle they just jumped in to warm up without unloading guns...one goes off, shoots thru the floor but a chip of plastic floormat flies up and pokes out the other guy’s eye. His insurance sued the other guy for negligence in not unloading his gun...$40k medical bill

I have personally seen a dog fire a gun. Duck hunting with a semiautomatic and the gun was set down with the action up as we tend to do. In one step the dog flipped off the safety and squeezed the trigger. A real scare but no one was hurt. Be careful when setting down your guns and don’t trust the safety.
