h82bogey, feel free to send one of them bucks over my way. There's a reason I haven't put up any tail cam pictures. Going to be putting all my eggs in my badlands basket.

Good luck out there. My buddy got a trail came pic by Watford recently. Hard to see but it looks like it is 30+ inches wide. 554.jpg

Antler growth has been Phenominal this year and I have some brutes on cam. Also the largest deer I've ever had on cam and the third year of having him on cam. But as I get older and the kids start getting into hunting my turn has to wait as I enjoy sitting with them. This year I have a 12 yo daughter with a bow tag and she has been practicing a lot so she's first and then the wife who has high standards so I will be waiting a while to hunt for myself but will still be in the stand with them.

I have 2 stands up, both with cameras near them. I have yet to see a buck on either of my trail cameras. After 4 days I had over 200 pictures on the one camera.... Every one was a doe or fawn.

Well, my first outing was a good one to get the cobwebs out. Got out a bit late, mainly because I didn't have a standup so I wanted some light to see. Got to a spot threw up a hang on. A assituated, pulled out my range finder to get some distances. It only read 3 and 4.8 yards. Don't know if it was the fog or what. Heard some snort. Grabbed the bow and realized I for got my release in the case. Called it quits after the deer stormed off (never did see it). But it was a good morning set up a couple cameras and got to take in the view.

Today went to MN to help out my brother setup a late season stand. Got it done for the most part.

I almost forgot to report something else I saw happening around my inlaws. For the last several years tree row after tree row had been getting removed. Inlaws were doing it as well. Very sad..... But with this trip up there, I noted tree row after tree row being planted. Must have been at least 20 if not 30 new tree rows planted. Most being every green variety. This is in the NW through the NC portion of state.
