Have no need for a blower, best option for your wheeler is a warn winch and 60" blade, its amazing how much snow wheelers can move,no chains or tracks either, when heavy snow is forcasted I'll get out there a couple times to move the snow before it drifts,I also push the snow out to the street then down past my driveway and let the cty plow roll my pile off to the side, nice thing is even after a inch or two you can make short work of scaping down your driveway and move on to better things like having a hot toddie in the garage.

Well my 20 year old, maybe older MTD model works like a champ. I prime it, choke it, pull the cord once or twice, and she starts up. Let it warm up some before putting a load on it, and away I go. Have never had snow it wouldn't blow, cleans right down to the concrete, blows about 15 yards out.
I spent $100 on it from a friend that moved to AZ, so I have had it for maybe 11 years or so, of course living in the banana belt I don't blow as much snow as you east river guys, but we have had some dosies(sp), and she hasn't failed me yet.

I don't think a guy needs to drop $1500 an a snow blower, unless you have that much money to not spend on fishing gear.

I had a $100 garage sale snow blower......once....glad you had better luck with yours.

75$ mtd snowflite 10/26 electric start with snow chains. Bought it from some MSU professor who tried to shred a fargo/moorhead phone book. Had it on Craigslist for 15 minutes, I was the first to call when I picked it up in the morning he asked if he could of got more. I told him it was a fair price. He bent the inner auger so it was rubbing on the housing took it home heated up with a torch and good to go. Heavy beast but just like Juanr said started right up. You can't beat a tecumseh engine.

I do this exact same thing. I wouldn't use a blower anymore. I usually leave before the snow plow is out in the mornings anyway so i just push it out into the street and then hit it about 20 mph with the plow half down to spread the piles out so that the cars passing by can get through it. Even have it figured out how much i have to clean off of the street so i don't get a big ridge on the end of the driveway when he does come by.

Really? Some towns frown against pushing snow in the street. If your town allows it..good for you...if they don't allow it, I would warn against doing it because "pushing snow into the street lives do not matter"

I use both as I hate the snow fence on both sides of the driveway. Use the plow to wing it off to the sides and a trip or two down each side with the blower and no more snow fence. To just use the blower takes about an hour to use both about 20 minutes. For the real heavy out of control snows I borrow my buddies Bobcat, I can do mine and dads driveways in 20 minutes.

Yeah, the small town I live in,outskirts said we're not suppose push snow into the streets I think?,but as long as I don't put a pile out in the middle of it its a none issue, never had a complaint either in 15 years either.

Bought a snowblower from luv2hunt this fall. Figured it'd sit in the garage all winter since I dropped some cash. It's been out three times so far and has worked extremely well. I got a little overzealous yesterday morning and cleaned the driveway. The little bit that dropped while I was at work didn't necessitate the snowblower so I had to bring the shovel back out.

here's a great touch up rig...
