Seems like the typical knee jerk reaction. Anything I've seen claimed it was a long ways from being affordable/profitable. A quick search claims $17 a pound to manufacture. Label it for what it is and let the consumers decide.

Cells are removed from a cow and placed on a wafer. That has to be irrigated with blood. Not just any blood. The purest blood comes from a calf still in the mother's womb.

Cows are slaughtered and the meat goes one way while the calf goes another. Removing the blood, keeping it oxygenated, irrigating a wafer of cells to make them grow is a very expensive process.

Tell that to the housewife making the purchases.

I laughed every time Burger King ran their ad for the lab meat - Impossible Whopper . I think it meant it was impossible to choke down

Any of you fellas every eaten wild boar? Serious question. While the better half and I were in Arizona this past month, we encountered a couple of wild boars that came into the back yard at the VRBO we were staying at. Fence kept them out or I'm sure my dog would have tried to defend her ground...and probably lost...At any rate....I mentioned this to an older gent and he said.....wild boar is actually good tasting....well..the truly wild ground swine is 100% natural...no antibiotics, no hormones/steroids added.. So.... I decided to buy a lb of it. I will keep the peanut gallery posted on the taste. 1 lb was $9.99. Label states....and I quote..Wild Boar- SInce the Boars are truly wild, they are entirely Free- Range, with no added hormones, steroids or antibiotics. Their "natural" diet includes wild nuts, fruits,roots, and tubers.

Yep. Had some from Texas hogs and some from Georgia hogs. Both guys who shoot'em said the same thing and they didn't know one another. 40-50 lbers get butchered and eaten. It's awesome meat that tastes amazing. Anything bigger gets a pic and put in a hole or left in the brush and anything smaller gets left alone until 40-50 lbs. If I lived where there were wild hogs, you can bet your last dollar I'd have a freezer full of all natural wild pork. Hope this helps.

Although it’s more than likely posted and you won’t get permission even if they are an evasive species. I highly doubt it makes a difference!

I have. A 40 pounder & a 120 pounder, from California shit on the same day. Both were excellent. The breakfast sausage was so awesome.
