Bear in Fargo

Do momma bears drive them away after they a year old ? A few of us have seen them up here but usually mature ones later in the year after fawns drop. I was told they are out and about looking for newborn fawns, since they don't carry a scent .

I kinda figured that looked like an adolescent freshly booted from the nest. Not sure if they get booted @ 1yr or 2yrs old. I supposed I could google it, but I probably won't.
