This morning the early news said winds could gust up to 60mph with sustained winds around 35-40mph. It's a 48hr blunder. On a positive note the 48hrs prior will include some melting so that the snow will crust up a little and there will be little snow blowing drifts onto the highways.

WIND - the one thing that would drive me away from ND

Well, melting AND ran, followed by cooling temps and snow. It'll crust up nice and hard. Should make the roads slicker than bat shit, too.
