Older bro and I just got back from Anchorage/Willow to watch the start of the Iditarod Sled Dog Race! Awesome! While the wife and I went up there a few years back during the summer for a couple weeks, this trip was awesome as well. No fishing this trip though..just took in the start of the race and viewed the awesome scenery. I am posting some pics along with the current standings of the race. Race day this past sunday was sunny and 26 degrees and NO WIND in Willow,AK.

I always enjoyed the "Fur Rondy" before the Iditarod. some of those dog teams the locals put together were an awesome sight. Rags & Tags, weird looking critters. All told, you gotta be tough to compete in that race.
