Wow I can't believe people by $50,000 to $80,000 boats and the dealer wont install the electronics? I think I would find a different dealer.

First off I want to thank everyone for their input on my original questions, I did go with getting the electronics from the dealer and having them install them.

The prices were the same as any of the sporting goods stores around, granted you can save a few hundred if and when they are on sale. The dealer is going to call when the get ready to install the equipment so I can put in my two cents worth.

Anyway the boat is suppose to be in this week and I have am getting the Humminbird Helix 9 with I-pilot link installed, I have requested to have it installed so I can turn it to view through the windshield so he suggested a Ram Mount. My question is there a benefit to being able to turn the locater if I have the hand controller? Anyone have any additional suggestions.
