OK. Watched both videos and this dude contradicts himself. First he polishes the pan with sandpaper to remove the "texture" and then uses simmering vinegar to "etch" the surface of the pan. Etching creates the same "texture" he just ground off with sandpaper. Mrs. KDM uses her pans daily and none of this stuff was done to them and they work just fine. Minimal to ultimately no food sticking. She uses bacon grease to season her pans. Seems like a whole lot of effort for very little benefit IMO. Carry On!
