Yea I say give the sotans first chance to get them black bear I am sure they will come into the bait piles the 3rd weekend too.

Yea I say give the sotans first chance to get them black bear I am sure they will come into the bait piles the 3rd weekend too.

If that 2wk push gets you in to the time when the acorns start dropping you'll find bait piles a lot less effective and the bears MUCH more difficult to pattern.

Serious question as I don’t bear hunt is the public land overrun with nd bear hunters or is this just a jab? Most guys from nd I know who bear hunt are on private land on bait or with outfitters.

I see a few brown- platers every year bear hunting. I try to be friendly and give them advice. Got a 14 year old from Fargo coming tonight for bear.

I always found the blue plate thing funny since our plates are bluer than Minnesota's!
