Could you imagine going back to a flasher or depth only, back when a person had to read currents and depths to catch a fish? I wonder how many people would still be able to fill a livewell...

I pretty much just use mine for depth and then say Oh...there's one. The mapping is what I use most. When trolling you're just getting a history on the graphs. I have yet to spend hours driving around looking for fish and then fishing. I go where we plan to fish and fish, if not catching any we move whether we're seeing them on the graph or not.

That's why it's called fishing and not catching and why hunting is not called shooting. To each their own but if I ever lost the quest, I'd rather just color or knit instead.
