In Minot we'll see the plows someday. Always a mystery when that will happen. Blew out neighbors and my driveway. No use trying to go anywhere for a day or three. Glad I made a booze run Friday.:;:rockit

I will just bring the pay loader home from work to do my street.................................::thinking:: If I can get to work.::wowzers::

To titty sprinkling much!;:;rofl Schrader at noon said 12 here but like I said earlier at least 14" on the flats.
Yeah not to mention mandan had 11 inches as of 11 last night! Anyone here know what kfyr is reporting since they seem to be more accurate.

Flipping pathetic the NWS hasn't done a snowfall total update in 10 hours and half of those were from yesterday.

Ice is so thick on our township road if you don't drive right down the middle in the ditch you go. You can ask my wife about that.:;:chillpill

Did my driveway 2 times today, and did 2 driveways so far for neighbors. Glad I bought an Arien's with a 24" cut and an 8hp motor, she's a snow eating machine :;:rockitOn a side note one of the neighbors is gone for the holidays and their buddy came over with a ATV with a blade on the front to clean their driveway ;:;banghead(2 to 3 feet of snow) I walked over, and asked him, how is the mail man supposed to the mail box? as he was pushing snow up to them. I told him to leave it and I would do the driveway with the snow blower. He sure made a mess of the street. ;:;rant For those of you thinking about buying a blade for your ATV, to use in town, use the money on a snow blower.

Can't find a report on snow depth for Jamestown. I'm guessing six inches. Fargo doesn't report and neither does Bismarck. I don't turn on the radio unless Rush is on.

The blade works well provided you have a place to put it. After 3 friggen blizzards I'm running out of room to put it with the blade. I have almost a half acre and my back yard is a minimum of 5 to 6 feet deep all the way back now. Miniature mountain range back there.

Went to take a shower this morning and could here a snowblower going well taking it. and after I got out I could see the neighbor had apparently come over and cleared out the small mountain that had formed on my front walk all the way from my truck to my deck. Luckily I have around a dozen ribeye roasts in my freezer so think one of them will be migrating over to his doorstep.

Thats what we did when the 3 day blizzard hit here back in '10-'11 can't remember which year..maybe dean can refresh my memory...lol...folks have a fireplace and only live like 4 blocks away from me, got too cold for me in my trailer so stayed with them...living room was nice and warm and they have those old kerosene laterns, had a few of them going, could only imagine what its was like back in those days.

then speaking of living in a mobile home, I suggest this....pack all the snow up to your skirting it will help insulate better. I don't have the best insulated skirting and sometimes when it gets cold I have a sweet spot the freezes ( water line) in the belly insulation if its gets really bad wind chill....well the week we had those sub zero temps, my water never froze, so I'm a big believer that the snow helped keep the damn wind from going under the trailer, and now after this storm its packed even better....

Got going after my post this morning thinking that if the wife went into labor, a clean driveway would probably be a good thing. By the time I got from my garage to about the middle of the driveway, the entire neighborhood was out doing the same. Kind had a good time talking to all the neighbors and have a beer afterwards. Also helps to have a neighbor with a pay loader. For some reason, the city already cleaned our street so it looks like I'll head into the office tomorrow. Can't imagine I'm going to be real busy.

Lov2hnt, el toro is still awesome. If you need to borrow it, let me know.
