Swedish meatballs are my favorite Thanksgiving and Christmas treat. I tried making them once and they weren't even close to as good as what my Mom used to make and she seldom ever went by a recipe. Do any of you Swedes have an old time recipe for me to practice so I can serve some up next year ?

There are meatballs and then there are Swedish meatballs . The difference is akin to seeing a coyote and seeing a wolf. A huge difference.

Here's our eats for tonight. Smoked shotgun shells, smoked jalapeno poppers, home made guacamole with chips, Lil smokes in grape jelly and chili sauce, cocktail shrimp, meat and cheese tray and a vegie tray.

Tomorrow's meal is prime rib, French bakes potatoes and a 7 layer salad.

Maybe get a tub from IKEA and a few large orders of plain potatoes from KFC?...

We typically do oyster stew w sourdough bread for slurping the broth. Oyster crackers are a must.
