Pulling for Blaney but I'm thinking Hamlin will win.

I wonder how much money they lost from advertisers by having to reschedule both races to a Monday when a large percentage of their audience will be at work?

No idea about add value but some of the regulars were suggesting yesterday that parking congestion should be 40% less. Venders were set up yesterday and they were doing well. Area pubs were happy as they get a bonus day. Officials could have postponed early Sunday AM but held off until around 10 as that likely helped out local establishments. They just announced that the Xfinity will not run until after the 500. Would be fun to watch an evening race.

I didn't think about them. Mostly I was thinking about TV ads as I imagine that's where the bulk of the revenue comes from.

The Matlock and Murder She Wrote crew are probably going to be PISSED that those race cars are covering up a re-run they've seen 10x + already.

Rode my motorcycle to Daytona the week of the 500 once. Will NEVER recommend that to anyone. Every bumpkin, schlep, and dinglefritz thinks they are in the 500 and can drive like them. Dangerous as all hell.

Nascar died when Dale did. Bravo to those of you that still watch today's garbage.
nascar viewers steadily increased after Dale seniors death, but once it went, woke, and started pushing Bubba Wallace and banned confederate flag. Their viewership has dropped considerably.

Sounds like l-94 between West Fargo and Moorhead at 1710 on any given weekday.

I don't really follow racing at all but I do have a question for any of those of you in the know. I see the Famous AF Thunderbirds did the fly over today....research looks like they have done this for a good number of years. COOL!! They are stationed out of Nevada, I believe. My only comment is..the Navy Blue Angels are from nearby Pensacola... wondering why the TBirds do the flyover at Daytona while the near by Blue Angels do not??? Don't give 2 hoots who does the flyovers as both the TBirds and Blue Angels are ROCK STARS! Just wondering if anyone in the peanut gallery know why the one does the flyover and the other does not? Scheduling issues perhaps?
