I took the wife and one of her friends out in the conditions that were less than ideal. lol. Hey..its North Dakota, its windy....deal with it..and that we did...Hand warmers in each glove and boot warmers in each boot were standard accessories for the day. Our location on the lake didn't fool any species of fish, didn't really see anyone real close to us bring any up either. We toughed it out for about an hour and a 1/2.
On a side note, for those that call this lake a pike palooza, the pike must have taken the feeding frenzy day off as only 4 were caught and tourney officials had to draw for the 5th place pike. Who would've thunk, with all the assorted tackle being offered in front of them, that more pike weren't attacking!
Didn't win anything in the raffle either..maybe next year.#$%^&>
