Send me a PM once we approach June I know folks along the shore, the north shore in June will produce mostly lakers referred to slicks as they are really oily but great table fare when smoked, one or two quality charters out of Duluth and a couple up the shore in two harbors I can have you research,I've fished every river from the lester in Duluth up to Grand Marias over the years for steelhead in the spring and salmon in the fall.Every small stream and river has been stocked with trout, mostly splake but natives rainbows and specs(brook trout) are abundant, some lake run brook trout or coasters run in the spring as well,my PB brookie is 26"s just over 3lbs,very colorful fish, but again in the spring, water temps regulate
spawning runs. You'll need a trout stamp in Minnesota, all lake superior tributary streams are one hook only,no trebles allowed. Also during the week we have a federal fish hatcheryopen@ the mouth of the French river just north of Duluthalong the scenic hwy, here you can get a free guide on stream fishing and stocking info, the folks working there are very helpful. But don't count on stream fishing in june, water will be to low unless you hike up stream and fish some hidden pools, again I can help there too but its top secret...j/k
