Not saying I wouldn't try it, but I tried freshwater drum from the river and let's just say it won't be the first thing in the livewell. (However, with my fishing "prowess" it may be the ONLY thing in the livewell!)

Sorry. Love a cab, shiraz, pinot noir. Makes me warm, tastes good with steak, strong cheese/hard bread or dark chocolate. Stains the nipples attractively and causes a friendly lisp like a queer.

Well, in all fairness....when it comes to wild game I need to try it before I judge it. Drum was something I'd seen debated here and it was something I decided I needed to try. I'd eat pigeon once and then eat it again if it was tasty.

I'm surprised that you prefer cat over drum - but that was the point of my silly beer/wine/mix post - people are very different when it comes to taste, music, smell, you name it. So nobody is really "right" or "wrong" with these topics.
