Just wondering what mounts people are using to mount the larger electronics on their boats. I have ram mounts now and they don't stay in place when the water gets rough.

I have the big ram mounts. It helps more than the smaller ones. But if it's 4 footers my graph will hit the deck.

I'm looking to upgrade from a 1.5" diameter Ram mount for a 9" graph this year. Cisco Sure-Lok mounts seem to be the most popular after Ram, followed by Balzout and TH Marine Shock Lock. It also depends on how much height, reach, and adjustment range you're looking for. I'll probably end up with a Cisco mount for my graph behind the windshield.

'Bird 898 on a Cisco. Boat was rigged that way when I bought it. Not sure if I'd have spent the $$ for it before, but I sure would now. It doesn't move in any water.

Anglers Pal are good ones. Mounted one for trolling motor stabilization and one for HDS 9. Can lock them down and no movement. For the money they work very well.

I have been really happy with my Cisco mounts. The balzout mount I believe offers a little more adjuments depending on where you are putting it.

I have a 12 on a Cisco and a 9 on a TH Marine on the dash. I like them both, the TH Marine really impresses me! Its a no-arm model but its rock solid.

I have a Cisco on my Helix 10 and a RAM Swing mount for my HDS12. They are both great

balzout is standard equipment on Yar-Craft, if I'm not mistaken. Might check them out at a dealer.

I have a stabil mount and they don't move at all---use it on a HDS12 and it is solid. Don't know who sells them around here but you can find them on the internet---they are out of Minnesota I think. The one I have was about a hundred dollars but that was a few years ago so don't know what they sell for right now. The website is stabil-mount.com
