I am buying Live scope I think- that is if someone thinks this setup would work
Last year i put a garmin 106 at the bow. I took the wire for the transducer put it in a water hose (one of those hard dark green ones) and ran that down the shaft of the terrova. It worked - i maybe ran into a little pinch one time.
Fast foward to 2025 - new rig
Bow - i have an old 9" garmin and the 106 - put them on a overpriced bracket. New Terrova with assist/and or lighter Live scope next to trolling motor run the wire up the shaft with rod sock or the hose if it fits. Hook the 9" to the 2d on terrova. Take the transducer for depth and SI from the 106 and run it to the stern.
Bass -which now what i target most - us the LS and 2d
Walleye - you know i luv to drag boring bottom bouncers - stern ducer will give me approx where my bouncer if i am at the bow.
Morris put a little lorwance 7" on the consul that has si on it will -- the question will that interfere with the garmin. My old rig i ran humminbird and the garmin but the bird was older and didnt have chirp they worked well together. My plan later is to get another graph for consul but right now i will live with the little lowrance.
Thoughts? No i dont want to buy the crappie over priced unit plus i think i would collect weeds like crazy, not fit under my boat tarp etc. And i am cheap.
