What's everyone using? I've used the tempo sc ultra with some success, but I'm wondering if there is something better. With fall closing in, I'm noticing more bugs around the house and inside of the garage. Killed a few large spiders last night that seem to have made some pretty elaborate webs in the upper corners of my garage.

I usually spray the tempo around the perimeter of the house, inside perimeter of the garage and basement (unfinished). Will that take care of most everything in/around the house?

I use Ortho Home Defense and it works well (mainly for the thousands of Box Elder bugs around the outside of the house).

I haven't found anything that works better than tempo.

Give Talstar P (Pro) a try. I used some this year and feel it has better residual then Tempo. You can buy it off Amazon, although the price has gone up quite a bit since a couple months ago. I got 2 jugs for $80, now they are $125ish. Or if you go to a TSC, Home of Economy, etc any other generic 7.9% Bifenthrin product would be the same juice.

I prefer a few bugs vs. chronic exposure to biologically active chemicals - even those with low mammalian toxicity.

Except ethanol. I make an exception for ethanol.

And nicotine sometimes gets a pass.

Yes yes... and caffeine too. But I draw the line there.

OK... cocaine too. But that's it.

Notice that CBD isn't on the list of exceptions? That's because under rigorous testing I found it doesn't do $hit.

Sorry I wasn't as clear as I should have been. I paid $80 for two 96oz jugs. Which works out cheaper per ounce then the gallon jug in your link.

Thanks for the information, guys. Used the tempo again last night so we'll see how it works.

I recommend running the high rate with tempo. Keep in mind that the life of residual is based off of more than just days after application. Keep an eye out for insect activity around known treated areas to gauge residual life. Depending on how fall progresses, I keep applying as needed to ensure I don’t have any insects trying to migrate indoors. Good luck. Smoke em all.
