european mount lights

I have a beefalo mount i want to put lights in as a NDSU fan. Has anybody put lights in and what did you use. I can find green leds on ebay 12v then i need to find a converter.

any other thoughts?

Some red lights in the eye sockets and some green lights in the nose would be cool and maybe some gold lights around the horn bases.

Converter with alligator clips or a quick connector to the lights, or rechargeable battery pack 8 AA gets you 12 volts not sure how long it would last.
Google european mount light kits if you haven't there are a few places that have them made up already or you can get some ideas of the pictures
