I've learned over the years that thunder and fishing DON'T MIX. Had the rods buzz ONCE and that was enough. With thunder you usually get wind, waves, rain, sometimes hail, and other unpleasantness so I just pack up and get off the water. Seen water go from calm to raging in 15 minutes. No Thanks. A fish just isn't worth it to me.
