Be interesting to see what late March and early April does. If this cold sticks around for 3 weeks and then warms up with moisture systems coming through things could get messy pretty fast. I’m hearing reports that the plains area of Montana has plenty of snow as well. To be honest, I’d like to have a normal run off year for Sak. I would like to see the potholes get a drink though.

Went out chasing yotes on saturday and I can confirm that it SUCKS to be out hiking south of bismarck right now. Knee deep snow almost everywhere, might need to consider some snowshoes...

this last blow on Sunday the snow is very hard to move, -30 this morning seemed frikken brutal pretty much had enough winter.

Yeah but those boys are taking a pounding out there right Now! We definitely seem to be doing this slow and steady wins the race when it comes to snowfall.

Right now snow water equivalent numbers are 90-109% and even some areas of the Missouri that are 110-129%.
