I agree. A couple of us were in Texas and when we started a drive through ravines and catsclaw trees, the pigs were going out the other end before the whitetails. Smart buggers.

that would work great here Fritz, we need to quit shooting deer for awhile. And hogs taste better lol. Seems to me I've heard about this stock trailer type thing. Something to do with mountain lions in ND

I don't think it would take much for us to get some of the Texans working the patch to start hauling em up.

The more I think about it the more I like the idea of hogs. They would be a great addition to ND for hunting opportunities. UND could become the "Hogs". Farmers would beg for you to hunt their land. It's a win win

co worker of mine from Texas loves to shoot the small ones. 60-80 lbs. says they are the best damn thing to eat on the planet lol.

I could see that

I'm guessing you'd want to avoid trying to eat a big boar

We shot a pile of them in Texas and the best eating was 50 pounds. Friend of mine got a tusker. It was so battle scared, its shoulders were like armor plate. Had to cut behind it and break it over. My friend couldn't make himself eat any of it.

Eyexer, even in Texas, it is illegal to trap and then transport feral pigs. Hauling them across many State lines to ND may land someone into the huskow faster than hacking Hillary's server.

Do they actually taste like pork? I've always imagined a venison type flavor.

I think one could just claim they were illegal hogs from Mexico and you would be let go no questions asked.
