My first instinct was Yes, as I feel it would be excellent ice pirate deterrent.

HOWEVER...depending on where you fish, you may in fact be inviting company from ass pirates.

So my answer is No. Unless I was 100 percent certain about the heterosexual nature of my surroundings. Which is a big IF the further west you roam...
