First tournament of the year on ND Missouri River cancelled (Adult & Teen Challenge)

Tournament at Graner Bottoms on April 14 cancelled do to weather conditions not a good start to spring fishing. Seen on facebook. This weather pattern is sure getting old.

Nope. Good Friday is an observed holiday. My Lund got wet for a couple hours.

Was it actually due to weather? Or what was the circumstance? Just Curious.

Seems a little premature to cancel because of weather. Heck if it gets into the 40’s next week the river will open right up.

Yea used a wrong choice of words again i apologize. Do not know the real reason just their cancelling the event for unforseen circumstances ? Since your a member of North Dakota Sport Fishing Congress one would think you would have the inside scope on what is going on. Just curios do you support the boat gas tax?

I have no clue to the reason why their tournament was canceled, and why would I or the NDSFC have any clue to that matter? Do you even know what the NDSFC is or tries to accomplish? For part I help with the banquet, and on the bigger part, I am just a member of a fishing club that attends the meetings representing our club with any concerns. As for the boat gas tax, I really know of little about it. Do you support it? Dang weather sure has things stirred up with cancelations.​
