Fish donkey tournaments

So I downloaded the app there are a few tournaments coming up that are multiple states only 40$ to enter good prizes. Anyone try one of these tournaments before?

Never heard of these tourneys before. Just an old grey beard observation here. Guys cram lead weights and fillets into fish when the tourney is closely monitored. I wonder what would end up in fish for a tourney across multiple states where monitoring is much more difficult? A case of beer and some bait, coupled with some peace and quiet on a lake of your choice might be a better use of your 40 smackers IMO. If you do take the plunge, please let us know how your experience was. I'm kind of intrigued here. Thanks!

I fished an online tourney a couple weeks ago on a different app. It was a pretty cool deal. In this one they sent you a code right before the tournament started that is required when each fish is pictured on the measuring board. The app also tracks your location. And they have people reviewing pictures to keep people from cheating but I guess it’s a risk you gotta take. The one I entered cost $20 and $5 for big fish. Ended up winning a few hundred bucks so I was happy.

Fished one a couple years ago in feb, it's a great catch photo release format. It was the 3 best walleyes,I was out west in the boat so definitely had the advantage.

Fish Donkey is probably the most widely recognized CPR online tournament company an in the industry as they have been around for several years now. I have never fished one of theirs but did participate in a similar one through Anglers Atlas this fall. It's a fun way to get into a tournament and be able to release your fish right away.
