Fishing the Dominican Republic

Has anyone fished out of Punta Cana. Going on a trip with friends next April. If I travel that far I need to catch or kill something for the bucket list.

Anyone fished there and have any recommendations on guides??

Don't do a half day trip. They only go out a little ways and you end up catching cuda. We had rough seas a couple of days so they canceled on us. The day we went out made a windy sakakawea look calm. By the end of the trip, it was me and one Russian dude left on the deck.

When i get to sork ill I'll try to find the name of the guy. I want to say it was Pedro. Either way, we took a 40 odd foot Bertram out so that was cool.

Pedro is legit. I voted for him
