Fishing the river help

Remember this when you find yourself in shallow water on the river: Assuming (for all practical purposes) the river flows south, let the wind help you find deeper water. Since we generally always have a good breeze in ND, use the following information....

Water that is flowing faster (deeper water) against a south wind will have larger waves on it than slower moving (shallow) water. Faster moving deeper water that is being "pushed" by a north wind will have smaller waves on it compared to slower (shallow) water that may have white caps.

More than a couple years, trust me. But, what a problem to have. We have one of the best walleye fisheries in the world, in our back yard.
