Future Lead Ban

Found this bit of information on the web today that there might be a lead ban in 2022 on all public land and water. The ban would include all lead fishing weights and lead gun ammo. I hope this doesn't go through! Alternative metals are really expensive when it comes to fishing and hunting ammo. ;:;banghead

One thing is Trump may be setting a precedent the way he is going gang busters and actually getting things done. The next time a libhole gets in there you can bet they will be doing the same thing. Executive Ordering any and all things liberal. Lead bans, gun bans, mag bans, every environmental regulation imaginable. It'll not be good. A lead ban on fishing would SUCK.

You can do all the executive orders you want but if they're not constitutional they will be immediately struck down and Trump is likely to find this one out the hard way.

I'm pretty sure Executive Orders are only good for 90 days. Then they have to be approved by congress, so Executive Orders only go so far.

Here is the thing about all of Trumps executive orders. He is mainly undoing all of Obama's executive orders by writing his own. It shows you how big Obamas presidency was a failure because many of his big accomplishments were from executive orders and could not work with congress to make them legislative law. If he would have worked with the congress then he could have prevented them from being overturned with just another executive order.

The other orders trump is pssing are dealing with his own government agencies. He has the authority to order them to follow new rules like every new regulation needs to come with removing 2 other ones. If we want lasting protection of Republican policies then congress needs to pass some laws.

If I have to switch from lead, I may have to quit fishing and hunting. Would get way too dang expensive. For the river catfisherman this would be a killer. A snag could start costing you 5 bucks each.
