Anyone been having more than usual issues breaking off the tip or even the hook lately? It seems that colored ones with the coating are the worst the plain ones seem to be a little better but I have took off the tip on those as well, shitty part is a guy doesn't always notice it until it's to late.

Not where I'd like to be
Yeah, I was going to ask what you're doing with them. I've run gamas for years and only broken a few with a pliers trying to get them out of a walleye mouth or boat carpet.

Gamas are what is on 95% of whats in my tackle box. Have not had a problem, but I may need to look at them.

Fishing the same stuff I have been for the last 20 years I have been using Gamakatzu's, sometime I notice it if I get snagged on a tree but 75% it is a rock that breaks the fine tip, I must be the only guy with the problem.

I have just started having the problem in the last few years

The tips will break off all hard hooks like that when snagged on a rock and pulled free. I have done it to Gamas and Owners. The Owners with the cutting point are superior IMO.
