Damn straight. This season was a build up. And last 2 episodes were a great payoff. Cant wait 'til next season.

Side note: do we think John is Robert Berathians son?

I think:

He’s Ned's nephew — the son of Ned's late sister, Lyanna Stark, and of Rhaegar Targaryen, Daenarys’s older brother.

or at least this is what I've been told by total GOT nerds. My wife is one of those nerds........

The battle for winterfell with the camera angle from Jon snows view is one of the most intense scenes of a battle I've ever seen. Made me feel like I was there.......

Rhaegar is the one that was holding her captive?

Yeah that battle scene was crazy epic.

If you think the tv show is bad try reading the latest books. George Martin goes into so much detail it will drive you nuts. He hasn't even finished the book that this year's episodes were supposed to be based on so the producers just got together with him and got permission to make up stuff as they went. It may end up that the future books are based on the tv show as Martin is getting lazier all the time and doesn't want to take the time to finish the story. He's got more money than he'll ever spend so he doesn't care what the readers think anymore.

Based on the first couple seasons, i believe George Martin has an unhealthy obsession with flaccid wieners. Thank heavens the unnecessary penis shots have gone away in recent seasons

My speculative question is: Where will his loyalties lead him when Little-Finger and Sansa line up against Daenerus? He cannot marry DS or SS as they're his aunt (likely) and cousin respectively. DS has already put up with her older brother stepping on her, I doubt she's going to do that again with a nephew, even if it is JS and he's delicate about it. Doubtful JS would marry any of the Dornish women nor Cersei. Marjorie got nuked in the Sept. and if Highgarden has any other female heirs, they've yet to be shown. Sending him back to become lord commander @ The Wall while predictable and "in-character" is far too dull.

Aria's plot line/character is flippin' BRILLIANT!!

I think all of that is rather inconsequential considering the Others are coming. That's what the show has truly been gearing up for since the very first scene from the very first episode.

One thing with the game of thrones if you try to understand what is going on now and haven't watch for a while you are lost. Aria wonder what is up with her. what is going to happen with the Ladisters and Daenerus and where are the Starks in that. White walkers? lot of questions not enough answers. looking forward to next years shows.
